Last Deportation

Brest saw 4 waves of deportation of the civil population after coming of the Red army in 1939. The last one started when the war broke out. The chapter deals with the life stories of those who were deported that time. One of them was Toma Matveyeva, born in 1929.

In the picture you see Toma Matveyeva with her brother. Her family was deported from Brest among many people of Brest Region.
